Reminders of what Christianity Should Look Like in Practice

You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men. You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. During the sermon on the mount, Jesus made the statement above. In these words, Jesus declares in two different ways that Christians should have a significant impact in the world: by being the salt of the earth, and the light of the world. Salt is used for flavor, and for preservative. The context shows that light is our good deeds that are seen by all to glorify God.

Christians today have forgotten what it is like to stand out. The purpose of this website is to encourage Christians to be what Jesus intended that should be.
