Upper Colorado River Scenic Byway

The first time I drove through the Upper Colorado River Scenic Byway was at night, and I missed the whole thing without knowing what I missed. The second time I was astonished to see it, but was on a tight schedule to be somewhere else. But my vow to return was kept on July 6, 2005. Many of these photos were taken along the riverway. Some were take on the short drive and hike to the Fisher Towers: some extraordinary rock formations.
